Imagine . . . an interconnected group of people who entrust themselves to each other. You can speak of your pain, and someone responds with compassion and prayer. You can speak of your joys, and someone rejoices with you. You can ask for help with sinful struggles, and someone prays with you.

The goal of this book is that these meaningful relationships will become a natural part of daily life in your church. With short chapters and discussion questions meant to be read in a group setting, Ed Welch guides small groups through eight lessons that show what it looks like when ordinary, needy people care for other ordinary, needy people in everyday life.

An easy read and especially loved the follow up questions at the end of each chapter. Backed by Scripture. Focuses on building fellowship. Anyone in a leadership role or non-leadership role could learn a lot from this, I did. If you truly want to start caring for one another this book takes you step by step and gives you a good starting foundation

“Caring for One Another is actually a very good book. We need God, and we need other people around us. There are hurting people everywhere, sometimes it can be tempting to those who are more qualified elders, pastors, counselors that their care should be left up. But for Caring For One Another Encourages us to who believes and trust Jesus will be more caring their brothers and people. I would say those who feel weak and needy this book will help them. It encouraged me to bear one another’s burdens. Christians are caring for each other better but it’s good to think about how we approach our people, praying, humility, caring, being honest. Sharing with one another is caring-sometimes sharing is not only things but our struggles and pains. Sometimes the author talks about suffering and sin. I really recommend this book for all our Christian brothers and sisters.
